Recent high profile project failures are often judged to be unsuccessful not because of insufficient technical or project management capability, but due to a lack of effective project governance and inadequate strategic leadership and support.This highly engaging one-day workshop will evaluate how the project sponsor contributes to successful project delivery. We consider how sponsors can provide active guidance and support to project managers and their teams whilst ensuring that resources are used to deliver best value outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.Target AudienceNo formal prerequisites are required for this workshop although it’s assumed that attendees will be working in (or towards) a role where part of their remit involves some level of accountability for the delivery of project outcomes.
