Deploying Enterprise Mobility Solutions with Citrix XenMobile

Students interested in learning how to implement XenMobile features using leading practices. Specifically:

Citrix recommends students prepare for this course by taking the following course:

• CXM-101 XenMobile Foundations

It is also recommended to gain a basic understanding of the following concepts and technologies:

• Experience with Mobile Devices and Apps
• Experience with Windows Server administration
• Experience with Enterprise File Sharing and Sync• Experience with Citrix virtualization technologies, such as XenDesktop and XenApp
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or enterprise database servers
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Basic Networking including understanding of VPN concepts, SSL encryption and certificates

It is also recommended that students bring a mobile device (iPhone, or Android) to complete device enrollment and Worx-related exercises. This device should not be enrolled in another MDM solution, or ould need to be unenrolled in order to use it to complete the mobile device-specific class exercises.
